HIPAA-compliant Security
Our solution secures your files using state of the art encryption methods. All communication is SSLv3 encrypted (or better depending upon browser capability) and all content run through a streaming 256-bit AES cipher. We encrypt each file with a unique key and initialization vector (IV) and store both in a HIPAA-standards compliant data center. Your files are passed through our encryption grid one packet at a time and stored in a separate SAS70 Type II compliant facility under completely distinct governance.
Other enterprise cloud storage providers encrypt all data using one key and/or store keys and encrypted content in the same physical location. In practice, this leaves their customers' files vulnerable to a successful breach of a single datastore or vendor.
