    This guide will show you how to access another person’s calendar or other folder in Outlook.

    Note: Before you can access the other person's mailbox data, they will have to grant permissions to you.
    1. The person who wants to share with you will send initiate the sharing. This will generate an email to you.
    2. Open Outlook.
    3. Look in the inbox. The folder sharing email needs to have been received. Click on Open this Calendar.
    4. You should now see the other user’s folder.
    Note: If you use the "Open Other User's Folder" method as outlined, only the primary Outlook folders (Contacts, Inbox, Journal, Notes, Tasks) may be accessed; subfolders are not available. In order to access folders other than Primary Outlook Folders, you must share the entire mailbox.
